How to start with an SEO Friendly Website

If you have been blogging for a while or are about to start you probably have heard the acronym, SEO, by now. You may have some concerns or questions about it, wondering what it is and if it I worth your time. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. You may have also heard of SM (Social Media) or SEM (Search Engine Marketing). For now let me elaborate a little bit on SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and how you can start off with an SEO-Friendly Blog. A Good Writer Over the years I have found that many very good writers have a knack for landing on the first or second page of Google because of their well written articles. This is because they their content is so properly written that it may actually include subject matter in a few smart places on that page. This subject matter includes their keyword phrases in such a way that it may appear as though they purposely optimized their writing so their readers can find them Google, for example. Just like a marketer, a good writer knows who their audience is. A marketer knows who their target audience is and a good writer knows who to write to and what their readers want. Believe it or not, in addition to a few other items, keeping this in mind can help you write an SEO-Friendly blog. When you write your posts remember to use keyword phrases and use them in variations as well. “I bet you have done this before and did not even know it” SEO-Friendly Foundation First, let’s start off by sharing with you that anyone or business in need of good search engine rankings, so they could be found by found on their favorite search engine, definitely needs a good SEO (Search Engine Optimization) foundation on their blog. It does not matter if it is a website, an e-commerce website, or a blog. They all need what I call professionally engineered SEO (Search Engine Optimization). A good SEO-friendly foundation includes a compelling title and an appealing description that includes a few of your best keywords phrases. Both of these should be in your subject matter and in your html Meta tags. Rich keyword writing and content that targets your audience is, key! Keywords In the world of SEO a keyword is not just a keyword as you may know it to be. Many SEO professionals call it a keyword phrase. Using a single keyword to find something you want in a search engine such as Google, may not necessarily give you what you want. For example, if you type in the word “bracelet”, the results are huge. To sift through those results is time consuming. You have to be more specific. First ask yourself, what kind of bracelet am I looking for, is there a particular style, and perhaps a color? Let’s try the phrase “red bakelite bracelet”. Notice it is a phrase with three key words making it more specific. A keyword phrase like this will obtain better results in your Google search than just the word bracelet. There is a little more… We’ll be back.
